Photograph, from left to right, of Dode Witherby (Sarah Josephine), Mertie West and Zetta Witherby standing along the edge of the Zabriskie Point overlook in Death Valley National Park. In the foreground, the front end of a car noses into frame from the lower right corner. Another car in partial view sits along the left edge. In the near distance, right-of-center, Dode Witherby, Mertie West and Zetta Witherby stand on the near side of a stone parapet lining the Zabriskie Point overlook. Dode Witherby stands leftmost of the trio and faces towards the right. Mertie and Zetta stand with their backs to the camera. The low barrier wall stretches back on an angle to the left.
