Photograph of H. H. West's car stopped along the road while traveling through Death Valley National Park. The car is viewed close-up, from the side. It faces left and the back bumper extends out-of-frame at right. Wes Witherby sits at the driver's seat at center. He appears to tip his cap as he turns to look to the camera. A couple women sit in the back seat. Behind and to the left of the car, a directional road sign stands. It reads, "[left pointing arrow] AUTO CAMP .......1 STOVEPIPE WELLS.26 SCOTTYS CASTLE.56 UBEHEBE CRATER.59 LONE PINE...109."
