Description

The Bow River Valley is silhouetted as it spans the foreground. At left, a pine tree stands. To the right of it and further in the distance at center, the Bow River flows back from the bottom edge. The valley floor that surrounds the river is obscured by shadow. A mountain rises up from the valley floor at right. In the far distance, at center, snow-covered mountains stretch across the background. Four punched holes line the bottom edge at right. According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white. Text from negative sleeve: Color 2282. Banff trip June 1947.
