Photograph of the Bow River Valley in Banff National Park, as viewed from a rooftop at the Banff Springs Hotel. In the lower left corner, the pool area of the hotel enters frame and is viewed from above. Beyond it, pines line the near landscape. The Bow River Valley stretches into the distance. The Bow River flows back at center. Mountains rise up from the valley floor on either side of the river. In the far distance, mountains stand at center. Four punched holes line the bottom edge at right. Text from negative sleeve: Color 2282. Banff trip June 1947.
