Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white. Photograph of Mertie West and other visitors to Banff National Park viewing a lake and mountain between Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Mertie West and an unidentified man stand in the foreground at right. The man stands rightmost. Both he and Mertie turn their backs toward the camera and face slightly left towards the landscape. The land slopes down away from them. Other park visitors walk along a trail leading to the lake at center. The lake stretches across the mid-ground. On the opposite bank, a mountain covered in patches of snow rises at center. It slopes downward towards the right and stretches wide to the left. Four punched holes line the bottom edge at right.
