Photograph of John Johansen standing atop a pipe running alongside a bridge while he fishes at Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park. John Johansen is viewed from a slightly elevated perspective. He stands in the foreground at left, balanced atop a pipe. He faces right as he holds a fishing net and rod in his hands. The pipe he stands upon stretches from the lower left corner and vertically back towards center. Behind (or to the left) and above the pipe, a bridge that spans Emerald Lake stands. It stretches on an angle back from left towards center. A few people stand on the bridge near the upper left corner. To the right of the bridge, Emerald Lake stretches across the image. A distant bank lines the background. At center, a hut is barely visible standing at the end of the bridge.
