Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of a waterfall flowing at the confluence of the Yoho and Kicking Horse Rivers in Yoho National Park. In the foreground, vegetation lines the near bank of the rivers. A pine sapling grows at center. Behind it and to the left, a waterfall from the Kicking Horse River cascades over rocks. It flows towards camera and merges with its tributary, the Yoho River. The Yoho River enters frame at left in the mid-ground and meets with Kicking Horse River at the base of the waterfall. Pines line the banks of the waterfall. Text from negative sleeve: 2305. Banff trip June 1947. Emerald Lake June 30. Mertie West in red blanket at Emerald Lake.
