Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of a set of Canadian Pacific Railway tracks stretching into the distance, as viewed en route to Vancouver. The tracks enter from the bottom edge at center and extend back into the distance. The track's foundation is lined by tall grasses and trees on both the left and right sides. Utility poles line the left side of the tracks. A mountain is visible rising in the distance at center. Text from negative sleeve: 2310. Banff trip June 1947. July 1, 1947. En route via Canadian Pacific R R to Vancouver B C. Train stopt [sic] at a small station Porter at car. 2 films. A stretch of the track from rear platform. Our observation car.
