Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. An out-of-focus and poorly framed photograph of children standing at the water's edge in Stanley Park, Vancouver. The camera's view is cast towards the ground. Rocky ground stretches across the foreground and back into the image. Two children (both in partial view) stand with their backs to camera in the near distance at left. They are both only visible from the back down; the upper halves of their bodies extend beyond the top frame. Ahead of them, a body of water extends into the distance. At far right, someone (partial view) stands in shadow. Only their legs are visible. Six punched holes line the bottom edge. According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white. Text from negative sleeve: Color 2317. Banff trip July 1947.
