Photograph of the swimming pool at Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park, as viewed from a terrace. The pool is viewed from a slightly elevated perspective. A terrace of poppies spans the foreground and slopes downward from right to left. Beyond it, at right, wide, terraced steps lead down towards the pool area. In the near distance, a narrow patio stretches across the image on an upward angle from left to right. Tables, umbrellas and chairs line the patio. Beyond the patio and a tier lower, the pool is visible. Low walls encircle it. Wide, arched windows are inset on the long, far wall. The hotel's grounds are visible in the background, through the windows. Six punched holes line the bottom edge. Text from negative sleeve: Color 2319. Banff trip July 1947.
