Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white. Photograph of the ship, Del Norte, viewed from the dock as it sits moored alongside a wharf in New Orleans. The ship is seen from a low-angle perspective. Its bow faces towards the right and its starboard side extends back to the left, alongside the wharf. On the ship's hull, it reads, "DEL NORTE." Up on the ship, the deck is obscured by a railing. At center, masts and rigging extend above the deck. Farther back on the ship a funnel and bridge sit in partial view. An American flag stands at the front of the bow. The wharf enters frame from the bottom edge at left. It extends straight back into the distance. A warehouse stands along the left side of the wharf. It too extends back into the distance. Four punched holes line the bottom edge at right. Text from negative sleeve: 2342.
