Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white. An out-of-focus photograph of 3 guards performing the changing of the guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. A wide walkway stretches across the foreground on an upward angle back to the left. In the near distance at center, 2 guards face each other while standing at attention with their rifles in front of them. The nearer guard stands with his back to camera and the other guard faces camera. Ahead and to the right of them, a mat stretches across the ground. A third guard stands at the center of the mat and faces the other guards. The marble Tomb of the Unknown Soldier stands behind and to the right of them. It is viewed at an angle from the front and the side, facing left. Left-of-center, the guard's hut stands at the far end of the mat. Trees stand across the background.
