According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
Photograph of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, as viewed at a distance from the east. In the foreground, hedges line the near side of a fence. Both the hedges and fence enter frame from the lower right corner and extend to the left on a slight upward angle. Beyond the fencing, a wide, grassy field sits in the near distance. A low, stone wall lines the back edge of the field and surrounds the grounds of the George Washington Masonic Memorial. Signage for the memorial is posted on the left side of the barrier. It reads, "THE GEORGE WASHINGTON MASONIC NATIONAL MEMORIAL." Behind the stone wall, a small, landscaped and terraced hill rises. Atop the hill, at center, the George Washington Masonic Memorial stands. A central porch juts forward from its wide base. Behind the porch, a tiered tower rises from the center of the building. It stands 4-tiers tall. Four punched holes line the bottom edge at right.
