Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of the tombstone for Paul Revere in the Granary Burying Grounds, as viewed close-up. A walkway of stone pavers stretches across the foreground. Grass lines the far edge of the walkway. At center, a small, stone marker rises beside the walkway's edge. It marks the tomb for Paul Revere; its inscription reads, "Paul Revere's Tomb 1785." Behind and to the left of it, a taller memorial marker stands. Its inscription reads, "PAUL REVERE BORN IN BOSTON. JANUARY, 1934: DIED MAY, 1818." The surrounding cemetery grounds pass through the mid-ground. A building stands across the background, behind the cemetery's back edge.
