Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of H. H. West standing beside Paul Revere's grave marker in the Granary Burying Grounds. H. H. West stands in the cemetery grounds, just right-of-center. He faces slightly left and looks downward. To the left of him the monument for Paul Revere stands. It is viewed at an angle from the side. Its inscription reads, "PAUL REVERE BORN IN BOSTON. JANUARY, 1934: DIED MAY, 1818." Wire stretches across the image, in front of H. H. and the grave marker. The surrounding cemetery grounds extend through the mid-ground. A tree stands behind H. H. and a building (partial view) is visible in the background at right.
