C. MacWatters and Esther Chadbourn sit behind the desk. Chadbourn holds a paper and pencil in her right hand, and glasses in her left. A poster sits on the desk that says "Give!" A light fixture is mounted on the back wall. A bookcase on the back wall is filled with miscellanea. D. C. MacWatters was the head of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Red Cross. Esther Packard Chadbourn was a national field worker for the American Red Cross in Southern California. O. O. Marshburn was the Whittier chapter chairman American Red Cross.
