On April 2nd, a reception was held honoring Dr. Rudolphe Kiss and his exhibition of Forty California Notables at the Los Angeles Museum.
Mrs. Rufus B. Von KleinSmid (Elisabeth von KleinSmid) stands to the left of a portrait painting, and Mrs. William M. Bowen (Louise A. Bowen) and Mrs. Arthur S. Bent (Eliza J. Bent) stand to the right of the portrait painting. All three women are wearing hats and fur garments of some kind.
