Text from negative sleeve: 4656 --- [clipping:] The United States Junior Chamber of Commerce gold medals were presented last night to young Southland men for outstanding service to the communities at the first anniversary dinner of the Hermosa Chamber of Commerce. Gov. Merriam, a the top left, made the presentations to, left to right, Logan R. Cotton of Hermosa Beach; M. W. Chatton, Long Beach; Mac Cowell, Pasadena; Bernard Brannon, Glendale; Roy O'Day, Pomona, and T. Cedric Browne, Santa Monica. In lower picture are the Governor and Sybil Jason, who entertained. 4/6/36 [stamped:] APR 9- 1936
