Opera appreciation abounds amongst students thanks to president of the Euterpe Opera Reading Club Edith Payne as Miss Adelaide Bray of Venice High School chaperoned 56 young people at the Biltmore Theater to watch "Barber of Seville".

Francis Payne, president, Roth Hamilton, program chairman; Irvin Taplin, Myron Carr, Jr., and Miss Eleanor Lawrence of the Euterpe Opera Reading Club, left to right, were hostesses at one of the largest meetings of the year at the Biltmore this week when the "Barber of Seville" was given. Guests and members came from many cities of Southern California.
