21-year-old Stanley Lewis of 1822 1/2 Cedar Street, Alhambra tells of falling at speeds of 125 miles an hour and the times when he has narrowly escaped death due to parachute malfunctions.

Text from newspaper caption: Stanley Lewis of Alhambra buckles on his parachute in preparation for making one of his weekly jumps from over Monrovia Field from a plane piloted by Ted Hamm of California Air SErvice. His Sunday dives have thrilled thousands of spectators for months and he says he gets a bigger thrill than any of the onlookers. He recently escaped death by a narrow margin when his two 'chutes became entangled.
