Onlookers watch as Peter feeds a hay-covered Agatha. Barnes' circus holds sixty steel railroad cars, 700 people and 500 animals of which there are 26 lions and tigers, and lots of activity. Text from newspaper caption: Agatha is really happier than she looks. Junior saw to that by providing peanuts in great quantities to the mammoths at the opening of circus days at Washington Boulevard and Hill street yesterday. Little Peter Duart is doing the honors here.
