The old County Courthouse was built in 1888 and demolished in 1936. The Hall of Records was built between 1909 and 1912.
The Hall of Records, left, stands tall against the empty lot that once housed the old County Courthouse. The street adjacent to the lot, on the right side of the photograph is Broadway.
