Description

The fifteen-year-old boys escaped from the California Junior Republic, lied that they were twin brothers with their father paying for their fare and boarded a train all the way to Santa Fe before they were apprehended by police.
The boys sit next to each other with closely-cropped light hair wearing denim uniforms, Neal leaning with his chin against his fist.

Text from newspaper caption: Neal Parker and Fred Parsons, each 15 years of age, shown on return yesterday after chase that started March 17 when they escaped from California Junior Republic at Chino. Police say the boys posed as twins and made one escape at Albuquerque by wearing bed sheets.
