The fifteen-year-old boys escaped from the California Junior Republic, lied that they were twin brothers with their father paying for their fare and boarded a train all the way to Santa Fe before they were apprehended by police. The boys sit next to each other with closely-cropped light hair wearing denim uniforms, Neal leaning with his chin against his fist. Police say the boys posed as twins and made one escape at Albuquerque by wearing bed sheets.
