Haskins of Los Angeles Railway Company and other officials of the lines, employees' representatives are shown here in conference yesterday at which they refused to accept the union demands that strikers be reinstated as a means of truce. Loyal workers, Haskins said, believed such a move would be unfair to them. The president is sitting at the desk reading the document he holds in his hand. At his left hand sits P. B. Harris, vice president and general manager of the railway company.
