Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Los Angeles County Fair attendance is up 15% higher than the previous year's. Photograph appears with the article, "County Fair Bidding For All-Time Records," Los Angeles Times, 20 Sep 1936: 17. Mary stands in front of several potted flowers. She wears a floor-length black dress with a floral pattern and a headdress that looks like it is made of black lace. A flower is pinned to the side of her head and she holds a fan in one hand. The photograph appears to have water damage as shown by the creases over the picture. Text from negative sleeve: 6639 - Angelica Ficker Violet Sasaki Mrs M.C.
