A float with a large floral depiction of Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper" proceeds along Colorado Boulevard. The base of the float is white and features a large cross in the center.
The 1939 Tournament of Roses theme was Golden Jubilee to mark the 50th anniversary of the parade. Shirley Temple served as Grand Marshal.
