He was with the Cubs from 1934-1941, then went on to play for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, New York Giants, and ended his career in 1949 with the Philadelphia Athletics. Billy Jurges was a shortstop for the Chicago Cubs. He was with the Cubs from 1931-1938, and 1946-1947. He was with the New York Giants from 1939-1945. Around the time of this picture, he had just been traded to the New York Giants. Billy Jurges (left) and Augie Galan sit on a loveseat together. Galan has his right arm over Jurges's shoulder.
