Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. The home of Charles F. Lummis is located at 200 E. Ave. 43, Los Angeles. Lummis rests his hands on the chair and the Duke of Alba stands on the other side of the chair looking at it. The Spanish Duke of Alba paid visits to the art gallery of the museum at Exposition Park and the home of historian Charles F. Lummis. Lummis showed the Duke a chair that is said to have been used in religious services by Fray Junipero Serra.
