Dr. Charles Strub stands outdoors with the Santa Anita Racetrack behind him. He is wearing a three piece suit with a striped tie and a light-colored handkerchief tucked into his jacket pocket. The San Gabriel Mountains can be seen behind the racetrack.

Dr. Charles Strub, dentist, was a co-owner of the San Francisco Seals baseball team and the general manager of the Los Angeles Turf Club. He built and owned the Santa Anita racetrack.
