The Stanford football team runs through drills at Brookside Park prior to the 1935 Rose Bowl game. In the near distance at center, a Stanford player runs towards camera while carrying the football. Two of his teams stand to either side of him and try to tackle him. More Stanford players stand beneath the a goalpost at left and others stand back and watch at right. The far side of the practice field is lined by hedges. A similar photograph is captioned, "Proving that Stanford's football team isn't taking its Rose Bowl game tussle with Alabama in a light mood, the Indians worked out twice yesterday. Here's a shot of the drill showing the boys galloping down the field under a punt. Alabama took a morning workout yesterday.
