Text from newspaper caption: New Arrivals Bolster Fleet's Strength The new destroyer Dewey, above, and the new cruiser Tuscaloosa, below, which have just arrived at San Diego, along with the airplane carrier Ranger, to join the fleet. During the week, the Tuscaloosa's sister ships, the Minneapolis and the New Orleans, are due at San Pedro and Thursday the battleship Idaho arrives, after a modernization that makes her the most powerful ship on the seas.
