Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. The National Housing Act of 1934 created the Federal Housing Administration, a system of federally guaranteed bank mortgages. The administration's Better Housing Program also provided home repair loans to stimulate the construction industry and improve housing conditions.
