Description
Garrett Eckbo was an accomplished designer of campus landscapes. Among his best-known commissions are studies and designs for several University of California campuses, Loyola University in Los Angeles, Orange Coast College, Ambassador College, and the University of New Mexico. Some lesser-known campuses, however, include all of the schools in both the Whittier Public School District and the Long Beach Public School District, including elementary, junior high, high schools, and community colleges within the communities of Long Beach and Lakewood, CA
