Description: Scope/Content: Included are maps and writings by Watson pertaining to proposed development of a recreation and boating area on Upper Newport Bay in Orange County, California, public resistance to the proposed development, and a subsequent lawsuit. In one writing, "Upper Newport Bay: conflicting visions," Watson summarizes the history of the land use dispute. It is presumed that the maps were created by William L. Pereira and Associates.
