Scope/Content: At fourth annual Commencement June 14, 1969, Chancellor Aldrich, left, presented an honorary degree to Charles S. Thomas, center, former President of the Irvine Company and former Secretary of the Navy. He was escorted by L.E. Cox, Vice Chancellor--Business and Finance.
