Description
Scope/Content: A crowd of 2,000 attended the Commencement exercises in Campus Park (now Aldrich Park), marking the first time medical doctors received their degrees on the Irvine campus. The 383 candidates included 10 for the doctor of philosophy, 89 for doctor of medicine, 65 for master of arts, master of science and master of fine arts, and 219 for bachelor of arts and bachelor of science.
