Description
Scope/Content: An oral history with Ms. Jade Dang, born in 1956 in Saigon, Vietnam. She left South Vietnam in 1979 and is now a real estate broker in Los Angeles. She discusses her memories of South Vietnam before 1979, her family members’ story, her family’s escape, and finally how they came to the United States. She also discusses her life story after settling down in the United States and how she started her career. She ran a hair salon for almost 20 years before she finally became a real estate broker in 2002. She is single, living alone, and her parents and brothers all live in Los Angeles, California. Material restricted until 2024-02-15.
