[Written on photograph] 295 [Written on envelope] Showing degree of damage from flood as shown in No. 292, with exposure of roots. This orchard had cover crop turned under just prior to the flood. Wherever cover crop was not completely turned under beyond range of greatest flow, soil remained in place. [Negative digitized]
