Scope/Content: Abstract: Attached is the final supplemental final environmental impact statement (final supplemental FEIS) for the Condit Hydroelectric Project (No. 2342) located on the White Salmon River in Skamania County and Klickitat County, Washington. This document supplements the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (Commission) October 1996 Final Environmental Impact Statement (1996 FEIS), incorporated into this proceeding by noticed issued January 30,2002, in order to document the views of the Commission staff regarding the environmental aspects of PacifiCorp's proposal to surrender the existing license for the project and remove the project facilities in accordance with a Settlement Agreement filed by PacifiCorp on October 29, 1999. Before the Commission makes a decision on the surrender proposal and the Settlement Agreement, it will take into account all concerns relevant to the public interest.
