Scope/Content: Abstract: The effects of interim operations up to 2006 and dam removal activities on bull trout have been addressed in a separate Biological Opinion (Opinion) dated September 6, 2002. This reinitiation of consultation covers the effects of interim project operation until 2008 and sediment impacts to bull trout in the Columbia River that are determined "likely to adversely affect" threatened bull trout In addition, this consultation covers the effects of dam removal that are determined "likely to adversely affect" designated bull trout critical habitat. Our 2005 Opinion supplements the 2002 Opinion. All analysis and take coverage from the earlier Opinion is still valid except to the extent explicitly modified in the 2005 Opinion.
