Description: Scope/Content: Abstract: The Wapping Road Dam in the Jones River watershed is proposed for removal as part of a broader stream restoration effort to restore aquatic habitat and anadromous fish species migration throughout the upstream portion of the Jones River and tributaries. The Draft Record of Decision proposes to grant a waiver from the requirement to prepare a mandatory Environmental Impact Report, pursuant to Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act. The document contains a project description, summary of potential environmental impacts, summary of proposed mitigation measures, waiver requests, and findings.
