Description
Scope/Content: Abstract: The Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed (FLOW) is a non"profit, grassroots, citizen's organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the beneficial use of the Olentangy River and its resources. This Lower Olentangy Watershed Action Plan was developed with the input of citizens and stakeholders, and contains strategies and recommendations to improve or protect water quality by decreasing pollution and increasing the recreational value of the river. The Lower Olentangy River watershed includes the area of land that drains into the Olentangy River from the Delaware Dam just north of Delaware, OH to the confluence of the Olentangy River with the Scioto River in downtown Columbus, OH. FLOW's ultimate goal is to implement the strategies and recommendations contained in this watershed action plan.
