Description
Scope/Content: Abstract: The remainder of this 8-foot high concrete dam in South Middleton Township poses a safety hazard and liability. The township wishes to remove the dam to avoid future maintenance costs and safety concerns. The removal will benefit resident fish and should improve water quality. Partners are working with the township to ensure that a historic raceway will be preserved. Post-removal plans may include a water trail or improved fishing and boating access at the former dam site. The details in this grant report are subject to change.
