1 367. 23.3.55.W.S (handwritten in lead) Upper Gower Street Oct. 27 1811 My Dear Sir, Upon my return to Town yesterday I found your very kind Letter and papers – accept my best thanks for your generous interference in opposing the unprovoked and hateful calumny against the dead – be assured that what you have done will leave a lasting impression upon my mind and heart and that I shall ever remain with affectionate regard Truly and sincerely yours G.
