Scope/Content: Abstract: FERC issued docket number p-2082: The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission), under the authority of the Federal Power ACt (FPA), may issue licenses for terms ranging from 30 to 50 years for the construction, operation, and maintenance of non-federal hydroelectric projects. On February 25, 2004, PacifiCorp filed an application for license with the Commission for a new license for the 151-MW Klamath Project, FERC No. 2082, located principally on the Klamath River in Klamath County, Oregon and Siskiyou County, California, in between Klamath Falls, Oregon and Yreka, California. The existing project occupies 219 acres of lands of the United States, which are administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Bureau of Reclamation (USBR).
