Description
Scope/Content: Journal of a recreational trip through Mexico on horseback by a group of United States military officers and a Mexican guide. The group traveled from Fort Ringgold, Texas to Laredo and then to Mexico City while on a leave of absence. Includes six manuscript maps of Fort Ringgold, a U.S. Army cavalry post. The end of the journal contains a list of photographs taken and a log of daily miles traveled and destinations reached.
Condition: Original sheep covers, worn and spotted.
