Description
Scope/Content: Abstract: FERC issued docket number p-20: Article 424 of the License Order for the Bear River Hydroelectric Project requires the development of a land management plan to define and describe the manner in which licensee-owned lands within the project boundary shall be managed during the license term to minimize effects to natural resources, while providing for ongoing operations and maintenance activities for the Project, subject to the rights of lessess under existing leases. The plan must also cover lands that will be included in the expanded project boundary defined in Article 427. The land management plan must include:A decription of existing or proposed measures to be implemented on licensee-owned lands to reduve livestock grazing impacts, uncluding an implementation schedule; a description of existing or proposed measures to be implemented to protect and improve habitat and wetlands on project lands, including an implementation schedule; documentation of the establishment of a shoreline buffer zone on licensee-owned lands, including maps showing the location and width of the buffer zone and fencing required under Articles 425 and 426.
