Description
Scope/Content: Abstract: An investigation was conducted by G&G Associates for American Rivers, to determine the feasibility and cost of removing Iron Gate, Copco 2, Copco 1, and J.C. Boyle dams on Klamath River. The study was based on public information available to American Rivers and limited information available from PacifiCorp. Review of available information regarding the dams, trapped sediment, and river characteristics indicates that removing the dams is feasible and that the cost would be approximately $40 million.
