Description
Scope/Content: Abstract: In December 2003, Stillwater Sciences was commissioned by American Rivers, Trout Unlimited, California Trout, and Friends of the River to conduct a preliminary assessment of the sediment transport characteristics in the Klamath River. This assessment used Stillwater Sciences' Dam Removal Express Assessment Model, DREAM-1, to simulate the removal of Iron Gate, J.C. Boyle, and the two Copco dams (shown in Figures 1a, 1b, and 2). This paper reports the findings from that investigation.
