Photograph caption dated August 31, 1963 reads "When you can get people to leave their homes at 9 o'clock at night just to get a peek at you and to get you to write your name on a little piece of paper--well, you might say you'd arrived. And North Hollywood's Cindy Carol did just that Thursday night. The young actress, whose very first picture, 'Gidget Goes to Rome,' is playing at the Panorama Theater, was hostess at an 'autograph party there. She was thrilled at the turnout of young admirers." The theater is in Panorama City.
